OTA’s Annual Organic Leadership Award

An OTA Organic Leadership Award is the association's highest honor. The award is given annually to an individual, inside or outside the organic industry, who has shown leadership and vision in furthering goals of the organic movement.

	OTA will honor Paddy Doherty, organic farmer and advocate who was instrumental in the development of Canada’s Organic Products Regulations, with an Organic Leadership Award for Achievement in Growing the Organic Industry.
	Eldon Lundberg, Wendell Lundberg, Harlan Lundberg and Homer Lundberg, founders of Lundberg Family Farms® and America’s first organic rice farmers, will be honored with an Organic Leadership Award for Achievement in Growing Organic Agriculture.

Awards will be given at OTA's Annual Awards Dinner and Dance Party, June 17th at the InterContinental Chicago. Beginning at 6:30 pm, the event features hors d'oeuvres by Chef Al Rosas and a full, family-style organic dinner. The Chicago Blues Review rocks on for the dance party, beginning at 9:30 pm.
